WHMIS - An Introduction
All employers in Canada are required by law to provide WHMIS training to workers who work with, or in proximity to, controlled products. Workers may be required to work with hazardous materials that are new to the workplace or that have been previously installed - requiring repair, maintenance, or removal.

WHMIS - A Refresher

Working with hazardous materials requires effective handling procedures, personal protective equipment, and most importantly, training.
The IMS Interactive Online REFRESHER course will review the concepts of WHMIS. Similar to IMS Interactive WHMIS: An Introduction, the refresher course offers condensed WHMIS information for the purposes of an annual review.

Driver Safety
According to Transport Canada, our country has one of the best road safety records in the world. Unfortunately, each year approximately 2,900 people are killed and more than 220,000 are seriously injured on Canadian roads.
Employers should consider a Driver Safety Program for any employee who must drive during the course of their employment. This includes workers who may commute to multiple work locations or attend frequent off-site meetings or business trips, etc.
