Mr. Darch has an extensive background in commercial banking and financial management in both the UK and Canada and has specialized in mining finance. For 20 years, he has provided strategic direction to a number of junior mining companies.

Mr.  Fallis shares over 40 years of Shipping and International Trade experience with IMS. With extensive international interests on a global scale, which include numerous industries, Wayne provides his vision and experience to our regional and international activities.


Jeff D. Weaver
President and CEO
 
Mr. Weaver drives our teams with a solid foundation of over 20 years of experience with TransCanada Pipelines, Midstream, Gas Gathering, and International Aviation. Jeff's involvement in all aspects of the Oil and Gas sector, Risk Management, Emergency Response Planning, and Regulatory Compliance further his core strengths, which aid in accountability and lead teams to success.


John Alden
CRSP – Senior Safety Advisor

Mr. Alden has devoted over 29 years to Health, Safety, Environment, and Operations including  his career at AEC and Prime West Energy Trust. John has the unique ability to create policies and procedures for both executive and field operations groups. Working in various corporate contexts John has successfully:

  • Developed and implemented EH&S management programs at various companies to govern staff, employees, contractors, and sub-contractors in keeping with company, provincial, and federal regulations
  • Reduced WCB premiums for corporations
  • Provided representation at WCB Claims Services Review Committee and Appeal Commission Hearings
  • Completed both the Gas Plant Operator and Oil Battery Operator Development Programs
  • Completed Fourth Class Power Engineering program
  • Represented oil and gas operations on Joint Health & Safety Committee
  • Worked with local landowners and residents to address their safety and environmental concerns

Alejandro Avila
P.Eng – VP Information Technologies 

Mr. Avila leads our IT group and R&D team to create solutions for our client base. His 22 years of international experience with Boeing, John Deere, and a multitude of groups allow him to engineer and develop specialized programs and systems to increase efficiency, increase profits, and reduce risk.


Becky Wohlgemuth
Manager, Production and Quality Control

Ms. Wohlgemuth is dedicated to ensuring product excellence and on-time delivery. She has provided proofreading, editing, and document formatting services within diverse industries for nearly a decade. As the liaison between the consultants and the administrative team, Becky ensures that client deadlines are met without sacrificing product quality. 


Keith Cartmell

Business Analyst


Mr. Cartmell brings more than 10 years experience supporting asset integrity databases, including user and administration roles, documenting feature improvements for the developers, testing, and training end users. He will play a key role in managing improvements to our Asset Management System. He will also help us exploit advancing software technologies to continue to offer our clients the best service available.

Jim Hoover
P.Eng – Senior Safety Advisor

Mr. Hoover is a processing and safety consultant with 30 years experience in natural resources and manufacturing, including lengthy stints with Fording Coal and Enersul. By specializing in the implementation and maintenance of safety programs and by assisting operations management—all with a view to Certificate of Recognition achievement—Jim has enabled companies to increase both product quality and productivity while reducing costs and Lost Time for Accidents (LTA). He has worked side-by-side with numerous small to mid-sized corporations in terms of process upgrading, transportation and labour relations. Success has been achieved through open communication with all stakeholders and setting and maintaining the highest possible standards in all activities. Loss control related experience from his resume includes:

  • Work with oil and gas service companies
  • Road construction
  • Event management
  • Manufacturing shops – electrical, fibreglass and woodworking
  • Aquatic resources consulting

Tim Downing
Senior Safety Advisor

Mr. Downing has spent 16 years in the Health, Safety, and Environmental industry. Tim has developed his skill set while working at facilities and construction shutdowns, working with and for Oil and Gas service companies and auditing companies operating within the Oil and Gas industry. The common sense approach to safety is something that he strives to develop and introduce to company cultures.


Keith Overholt
Safety Advisor

With 20 years in Mining, Refining, Forestry, Well Control, Drilling, Completions, and International work in Africa, Mr. Overholt is a key facilitator in our Integrity Management, Health & Safety, and Emergency Response Programs.


Lee Laverdure
Senior Emergency Response Planner

Some areas of Ms. Laverdure’s expertise are in the development and maintenance of site-specific Production Facility, Drilling/Completions, and Corporate ERPs, as well as the facilitation of table top and full mobilization ERP exercises and customized ERP training.  Lee is also involved in developing Industrial Wildfire Control and Prevention Plans.  Additional activities include conducting Resident and Government Agency consultations representing each client’s unique situations for emergency response planning, licensing, and flaring notifications.  Lee values and encourages everyone who she interacts with to foster long-term relationships built from trust, honesty, and integrity.
