Corporate ERP

Any incident or event that a company may face has the potential to impact several aspects of the company and may even cause significant loss. Because of this danger, it is essential that all emergency situations are assessed and addressed quickly. A good Emergency Response Plan (ERP) will provide the framework to expedite this process.

An IMS Global Corp Emergency Response Plan can be customized and ready for rollout within weeks, rather than months. IMS will also build a customized, secure website to host a bookmarked, hyperlinked, and searchable electronic version of the document. This format ensure that workers will be able to access the information that they require quickly and easily.

Emergency Response Planning is especially important in the Oil and Gas sector, as EUB Directive 71 requires “all licensees to have, as a minimum, a corporate-level ERP” (Directive 71, Section 1.4.1).

Corporate ERP are not just for the Oil and Gas industry. All companies operating with two or more employees should have some form of Emergency Response Plan. The ERP will be more or less complex depending on the industry.

IMS uses the international standard for emergency management, the Incident Command System, as the foundation for all Emergency Response Plans.
